How SkillBuildup handles your data

SkillBuildup does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no name, email address, or phone number needed to use the app or to study any purchased subject. We built it this way deliberately — one device, one install, nothing to remember a password for.

Because there's no account, almost everything the app knows about your study activity stays on your device. What does pass through our systems is limited to:

• Purchase records. When you buy a subject pack, the transaction is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a purchase/transaction identifier and the product purchased — never your card number or billing details, which Apple and Google never share with us.
• Your study progress, locally. Quiz answers, spaced-repetition scheduling, streaks, and lesson completion are stored only on your device. We do not receive or store this on any server.
• Ordinary connection data. Downloading a purchased subject's content or a daily current-affairs update involves a standard network request, which — like any request to any server — generates routine technical logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp, app version). We use these only for operating the service, not to build a profile of you.

We do not use analytics or crash-reporting tools of any kind — nothing in the app tracks how you use it beyond what's described above.

Purchase records are used solely to unlock the subject you paid for and to restore that purchase if you reinstall the app or switch devices. Connection logs are used to deliver content and diagnose problems. We do not use any of this to advertise to you, and we do not build cross-app profiles, because we have no persistent identifier tying your activity together in the first place.

• Apple / Google. Process all payments and provide purchase verification. Their own privacy policies govern the payment data they hold.
• Cloudflare. Delivers purchased subject content to your device after a purchase is verified.

We don't work with ad networks or data brokers, and we don't sell access to any of the information above.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties except the payment and content-delivery providers named in §4, and except where required by law.

Study progress lives on your device and is deleted the moment you uninstall the app. Purchase records are retained for as long as needed to honor restore-purchase requests and to meet Apple's and Google's own record-keeping requirements for in-app purchases.

SkillBuildup is built for civil-services exam aspirants and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app requires no account, no name, and no email at any point, none is knowingly collected from anyone, of any age.

Purchased content is protected against casual extraction from the device, and purchase verification runs through Apple's and Google's own secure server-to-server APIs. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but the app is designed to hold as little as possible in the first place.

• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored study data immediately.
• Restore Purchases, available in the app, re-links a previous purchase to a new device via your Apple or Google account — no SkillBuildup account needed.
• To ask about or delete any purchase record we hold, contact us at the address in §11.

If this notice changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's store listing.
